  • Retired now, but in '71 you had to go to a 4 yr. college to teach. Not so anymore. You can train as you teach, and many do. Master teachers, career teachers are few. Why? Because it costs a fortune to get your degree and then you make nothing.

  • Is it just me or does anyone else thinks it's weird that Ted Kennedy gave the Prez a dog that is a WATER RETRIEVER? As in Chappaquiddick...water..get it?

  • I wish things could change. Retired now, I watched some parents force their little kids to read books about slavery and see the awful photos and stuff and the kids that were happier had folks that preached attitude, future success, education, etc.

  • I surrender. It's just a straight up double standard. But how do you fight it? Clinton left the White House trashed, keys pulled off computers, property destroyed, etc. and left late. Bush went out of his way to leave everything perfect for the new family to move in.

  • France is the only country who offered to take any prisoners and they said they'd take ONE. Austria said if they aren't dangerous, send them on to America. SAD to be dressed down from someone from Austria!

  • Absolutely. My Dad was a POW in WWII and he would implode to hear about these folks' releases. BTW---Austria is who told the US if they aren't dangerous, just keep them in America! France volunteered to take ONE of them.
